In the pharmaceutical, chemical, food and other industrial fields, making uniform pills from powder materials is a key process, and centrifugal pill making machines have become the core equipment of this process due to their efficient and precise pill making capabilities.
The centrifugal pellet making machine is mainly composed of a centrifuge, a powder supply machine, a spraying system, a blower system, an exhaust system, a compressed air system, and other parts. Its working principle is based on the synergistic effect of centrifugal force, frictional force, and fluid dynamics.
During the pill making process, the powder material and binder are first thoroughly mixed in the mixing system to form a suitable soft material. Subsequently, the soft material is fed into the centrifugal disc of the pellet making machine. The centrifugal disk generates strong centrifugal force driven by a high-speed rotating motor. Soft materials move radially outward along the centrifugal disk under the action of centrifugal force, and are compressed into pellets by the mold or scraper at the edge of the centrifugal disk.
The spraying system plays a crucial role in this process. It uses a multi fluid spray gun to evenly atomize the formula onto the moving material layer according to preset process parameters. The adhesive component in the formula can bond the material particles together, promoting the formation and growth of pellets. As the centrifugal disk continues to rotate, the material gradually forms spherical particles with higher sphericity under the combined action of centrifugal force, friction force, and spraying.
The blower system provides upward buoyancy for the material, allowing it to form a stable circular rope like motion inside the centrifugal disc. This exercise method helps to ensure sufficient contact between the material and the formula, improving the uniformity and efficiency of pill making. At the same time, the exhaust system promptly discharges the evaporated moisture and excess air from the material, maintaining a stable pellet making environment.
The compressed air system provides stable pressure for the spraying system, ensuring that the formula can be sprayed in a uniform and stable mist, improving the quality and effectiveness of the spraying.

The entire pill making process is a dynamic equilibrium process, and process parameters such as centrifugal speed, spraying speed, and powder supply speed need to be precisely controlled and matched with each other. By adjusting these parameters, different specifications and properties of pills can be produced to meet the application needs of different fields. Centrifugal pellet making machines provide reliable solutions for particle forming processes in various industries with their efficient and precise pellet making capabilities.
